Montreal, 1st June 1947.
It is finally official. The biggest and most astonishing representation of his life.
The greatest magician the world has ever seen announced months ago that he is preparing the most memorable illusion of all times. This will be “The masterpiece of his career.”
Specialized in disappearances and teleportation, he claimed that he will be able to travel across the ocean to England and back in matter of seconds.
Could this be possible? And if it is, how will he be able to demonstrate it?
… The next day…
“Extra, Extra, Read all about it !!!”
"Magician mysteriously disappears during his own show!
British Crown Jewels vanish mysteriously…”
Could there be a link between these two titles?
The famous illusionist is nowhere to be found, the answer could be hidden somewhere in his workshop, in the basement of an old building, however nobody has the courage to investigate. Before his disappearance he left something behind: A CURSE: "anyone who dares to enter this room will forever be lost".
Few people who tried, are now missing.
Do you dare to try?
Magic and mystery, what can go wrong?!?! Ok, ok, as bad as things can go wrong, there is nothing scary about this Illusionist but can it bring a barrel of fun?
When this room was first made, we thought it was one of the better looking rooms in all of Montreal. Sadly the game has been surpassed but it's still an above average looking game. The theme is definitely present. You feel as if you're on the set of an illusionist. Lots of cool props were used as well throughout the game to make it look even better.
The puzzles of this game were cool, it might be the best game puzzle wise at Find the Key. The game was non linear for the first part, then it became linear. The first part played very well with 5 players but the rest had a lot of people standing around. That's the big negative of this game.
All in all, we recommend this game. I believe this game is still on groupon so it's a steal at that price. It's great for all ages and is a little on the harder side, might not be a great first experience.
